When my wife and I decided to get a new roof, we looked for roofing contractors that had good ratings on Angie's List, and asked our neighbors, who we knew were very happy with their new roofs, for recommendations. We narrowed it down to two companies that were rated the highest on Angie's List, and one of the companies also turned out to be the roofer that my neighbors recommended, so we had them both bid.
As I would expect from two such highly rated companies, both had very comparable bids using the same roofing products. The bidding process could not have been easier and very quick. Since the bids were so similar, the nod went to Pro Roofing NW because they were a known entity in our neighborhood, and we could see their great work on our neighbor's homes, so we knew we would not be taking a chance.
We have pretty strict covenants in our neighborhood concerning what exact roofing materials, including what colors can be used, but Micah took care of all of that. He dealt directly with our homeowner association president (who also was another Pro Roofing NW customer) and handled all the bureaucracy of getting our chosen roofing materials approved by the board.
The workers arrived on the promised day and worked hard for three days until the job was done. They cleaned up after themselves every evening, and the job went very smoothly. Any minor concerns I had were immediately addressed by the foreman who was very on top of things and responsive. The roof looks great now, and we don't have to worry about making it through another winter.
The two things I liked most were Micah taking care of all the details, and the workmanship of the roof. After the workers left I got up and looked around, and was very pleased with everything I saw. It was just as it was explained to me during the bidding process--with all the vents replaced and painted and the new flashing everywhere. The roof looks great, and my wife and I are very happy with the whole experience.

Our roofing contractors built a chimney cricket and replaced the entire B-Vent with a new one. The Lynnwood roof also got all flashing replaced including roof to wall flashing, back pan flashing, step flashing, drip edge flashing, gutter edge flashing, and a ridge vent. Pro Roofing NW installed a Deco Ridge cap over the ridge vent (shingle Vent 2) and used synthetic felt as the underlayment on the Lynnwood roof.
